    hops question

    I got leaf hops for my next brew...is this the same as using whole hops or pellet hops? I got 19 ounces of leaf hops and want to make sure it equates to the same amount as the others

    yeast left behind in bucket...

    i finished my NB chinook IPA about a week agao..left the trub/yeast in the bucket...can i re-use this yeast that i left in the bukcet say 14 days later??? or should i just dump it...i do have more yeast that i can use that i save from a previous batch but was wondering if i could get another use...

    Pumpkin ale

    Need a great recipe for holidays...I have heard and seen a multitude of recipes...let me know if you have a goto for your extract brews...I would like one with spices and not really using pumpkin as I have heard it really doesn't give much flavor. Hops schedule/yeast/Whitlock/etc. thanks!!!

    Aging question...

    i have a NB wheat beer that has been in the fermentation bucket for about 8 weeks...i wanted to keep it in the bucket for another 1-2 months is this ok??? i keg and have 2 ipa's that i want to put in the kegs 1st since they are better when not aging so long. any advice would be great...let me...

    Yeast pitching...

    i kegged my ipa 10 days...so i canned about 1/2 the yeast cake for further use and left 1/2 in the bucket... can i still use the yeast cake in the bukcet from 10 days ago?? it has been kept at constant 70 degree temp and the bucket isnt contaminated or anything. any advice would be appreciated

    Fermentation going nuts

    Have an IPAi l going crazy. the top came off partially and the airlock is full. I am getting blow off tube tomm. Can I just clean the airlock and out back on and leave the lid just gently partially open to hopefully help with releasing air???

    SINGLE GAUGE REGULATOR QUESTION...help!

    my single gauge has been great for a while...i have an issue now and trying to seek help here... i have 3 kegs carbed (2 almost done and one just kegged)....it seems as though the regulator has stopped producing c02 from the catridge into the manifold and the kegs... never had this issue...

    Unwashed Yeast...

    here is my plan: I am about to rack my batch and I was going to keep 1/2 the cake in the fermenter and store the other 1/2 into a sanitized mason jar... then i will just put the new batch on the 1/2 i left in the fermenter...the 2nd 1/2 that i have in the mason jar i will save for 2-3...

    hop sticking to pot...

    if i have some hops that are sticking to the side of the pot should a scrape them off???? i am using pellets and some of the hops on the side are hard and was thinking about leaving them instead of putting them back in the wort

    how long should 10 pound CO2 last?

    i will be kegging 2-3 at about 12 psi continously...pending no leaks...how long should i expect it to last???

    Co2 tank

    Yet ran out. Have 2 kegs on tap...shut-off the valves to manifold. With the min pressure in keg (since I purged and then it ran out...ughh) will I be ok until tomm evening after work to put new co2 tank in??? Or are both kegs ruined???

    Got my wyeast in mail and it's a little expanded already but the smack packet isn't broke open and I can't break it because bag is inflated to much...ughh Is everything ok? Or do I need to smack it somehow?

    i have 2 batches ready...and my sanke kegs still need to be cleaned and sterlized... i plan on siphoning to keg on friday night...so i have a few days to do everything. any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

    i have 2 kegs that i will be kegging this weekend...i wanted to just put my co2 and 12 psi and let it go for 2 weeks then drink but i need it before that time. i have a party next saturday i need these two kegs to be drank at...these 2 kegs are done with fermentation so it is good to go to...
