    I replaced my old braid with a hot water heater braid this weekend since i destroyed it with my mash paddle. This new one is definitely not as long as the old one. Does this look like it will be ok? This is my 10 Gallon cooler and i batch sparge.

    Do I need to re-pitch?

    I brewed a 5.5 Gallon batch of pale ale this morning (OG 1.055) and when i pitch the yeast from a White Labs vial, it looks like I left a little bit of the yeast in the bottom of the vial. I guess I didnt shake it up enough before pitching. Do you think I should go get another vial and add it?

    I should have primed, but....

    Since i didn't, will it be ok to chill my keg. Force carb it at 40 degrees. Then take it out and let it age longer at about 68 degrees? Then obviously chill it again when ready to consume.
