    This happen to anyone? I was filling my fermenter from the brew pot when I dropped the strainer in the wort in the fermenter that was half full.     Steeping too hot

    I know releases tannins, but I found my thermometer was off by 20 degrees. I found i actually steeped 3 pounds of crystal 30, 90 and caramalt for 30 minutes. At 190! Did I just ruin this??

    First big batch

    Hey all! Just did my first 5 gal extract batches! Been using MR B stuff for a year, and now all I do is apfelwein in the little kegs. Just spen about 300 bucks at Williams Brewing and I have their German Ale(OG 1.057) on the right, and a Belgian Trippel(OG 1.075) on the left. Im thankful to MR...

    Starting fermentation in glass

    Hey guys, I have been brewing in MR B kegs for a year now and just spent 300 bucks on new stuff at Williams Brewing. 6.5 gallon fermenters, priming buckets, glass carboy, etc... I really want to watch fermentation start off in my 6.5 glass carboy, but have been reading ALOT on primary brewing...

    Hop leftovers

    've got a very messy brew that is going on two weeks in the fermenter. I dry hopped 1/2 oz Centennial hops in the keg. It's almost two weeks, and it looks like it's ready to bottle. Minus the hop flakes floating around on top of the brew. Filter it somehow? Or RHAHB? Bottle as normal...

    Hello From Northern Nevada
