    Over Shot my ferulic rest ????

    First time on my new set up i over **** my ferulic rest can i got back down t0 110 and let it rest for 20 minutes or by over shooting it (125) is there no longer a point.

    If a recipe calls for 4 gallons of water for the wort to be boiled in what happens when you only boil the wort in 2 gallons of water then add the rest in to the carboy?

    I bought 2 corny kegs today and When i see them purge out the c02 they have a little ring they tug on mine does not have anything like that so how do i purge the co2?
