    Yeast from Nov. 2011

    Bought some Northwest ale yeast that has a date of 11-2011 on the package. Brewing this week and can't decide if I should use it. I made a starters his past weekend and it is now chilling in the fridge. It looks fine, I am concerned about vitality and taste.

    Magnet help?

    I have ten (10) rare earth magnets bought from a jeweler. They don't grab both poles of the stir bar. WTF? Did I make a bad choice in magnets? I thought all magnets had a N/S pole and would automatically grab both ends of the stir bar. I have made several other stir plates that worked...

    Pacman harvest
