    Lactose and boiling

    I'm wanting to do a milk chocolate stout using a LME. I recently picked up a LME kit for making stouts but it came pre-hopped. My question is, with my kit being pre-hopped do I need to boil the lactose for a certain period of time, or should it be dumped into my carboy?
