    fall weather brewing

    Finially able to get out and brew some beer, being in Fl it is hot all summer and now with the temps in the low 60's this morning means no sweating while brewing. working on a sierra nevada clone. started at 730 am and hope to be done before noon... damm this is a fun hobby

    keg beer-shelf life

    thinking about switching to kegging, since it is only me drinking it, how long will the beer last in a keg? i have a few different batches going right now. and no way can i drink all the beer in a short amount of time.

    empty bottles

    how many do you have?? Wow just started cleaning bottles this afternoon and did not realize how fast they accumulate. just starting out in the hobby and I have 200 already I am sure this is not a lot for some but seems like enough for 4 batches of beer need to start brewing more often.

    sanitizing

    just started out brewing recently and love it. looking foward to learning more. when I sanitize my carboy there are some suds left over I try and get most of them out before racking over but is it ok to leave a few of them in there or does the carboy need to be dry?
