    Are my Grains and Hop Pellets too Old

    Maybe last november I bought some ingredients for a Nut Brown, the hop pellets and grains have been sitting in a bag since then. Are they still good, they don't look rotten or anything. Just wondering if I should toss them and get another batch (it cost $20 Canadian)

    In the Secondary too long?

    MY West Coast IPA has been in the secondary since Nov. 10th. Is that too long?....i'm gonna bottle it tonight anyways. Just wondering how long is too long in the secondary. FYI - The beer looks nice and clean in the carboy.:ban:

    Hop Pellets instead of Leaf

    Lowering IBU in already done Wort.

    I purchase a Festa Brew Kit with is basically 23L of wort West Coast IPA IBU 44. Then I realised some of the IPA i've been trying seems a bit too hoppy for my taste and the IBU was 33 and 40 for the two IPA I have been drinking. Is there a way to lower the IBU for this Wort? Thanks...
