    can't get a seal on my corney

    So far I've: 1) Replaced the O-ring 2) Lubed the crap out of it 3) Tried switching the direction of the lid (several times) 4) Put dimes under the latches to tighten it and it still won't seal. I can feel the air flowing near the points of the lids. Any advice would be appreciated!

    Corney Keg Issues

    1) one corney keg is leaking gas from the "in" post when I disconnect it. 2) the other won't create a seal around the top "thing" (don't know the terminology) that opens and closes. Both kegs are about two months old. Thanks in advance.

    Getting Impatient...

    ...with the sit and wait method. I thought I could wait a week for my Pliny the Elder clone, but my other keg had a leak in the line and I'd love to have it ready tomorrow night. I hooked it up at 12 PSI on Monday. If I shake it for 15 mintues or so will it be carbed by tomorrow night?

    The duder at my LHBS told me starters are not necessary and not always a good idea but reading this place it seems like some of you swear by them. Where do you stand?

    Dry hopping question

    When dry hopping with pellets do I need to stir them in? I know it's not a good idea to introduce oxygen into the wort at this point, so should I just plop them in and let it go? Thanks in advance.

    Cork top bottles

    I bought a bottle of Sierra Nevada's 30th Anniversary. It has a cork top. Can I reuse this for bottling? If not the cork part, can I at least reuse the bottle itself with a regular bottlecap?

    Can I fix the OG?

    Tap leaking

    When I turn the tap off beer squirts through the four little holes on the nut on the outside of my kegerator tap. I feel like there should be an easy fix but I can't figure it out. Hopefully I've described my problem well enough for you all to know what I'm saying.
