    extremely satisfied

    I just tried my nut brown ale 4 days after it was bottled and man is it ever good! the carbonation is great and its gotta be at least 5% and it tastes great. This was my first batch so i was skeptical how it would come out, bu tnow im just soo happy that its good. thanks for all the tips guys...

    how long to wait after bottling?

    I just finihsed bottling form the secondary. what should the least amount of time be before i can crack one to sample. I know i should wait for it to carbonate a bit. what do you guys think?

    Does it matter how long i leave it the secondary if i dont care about clarity?

    My buddy and i went splits on this batch and we really wanna drink it soon, so does it matter how long it stays in the secondary if we dont care about aesthetics. Or can i bottle in a couple days and wait for it to carbonate.

    A second kraeusen??

    Is it time to siphon into the carboy?

    Well i pitched my yeast on sat night, and this morning the head of foam is gone all i see is tiny bubbles everywhere poping on the surface. Does this mean its time to transfer into the carboy? thanks

    Another temp question

    Iv got my nut brown ale goin in the primary and it seems to be cookin nicely, got about an inch and a half of foam, my temp has gone up to 75 F when it was originally 71 is this a big deal for nut brown ale? thanks

    what temp for fementation?

    I just started last night and my brew is now in the primary with the yeast at 71 degrees F. What is the best temp for the primary for the best fermentation BTw its nut brown ale. thanks

    HOw to start siphon without your mouth?

    I just bought my brew kit yesterday and am planning on brewing today, but i just realized i dont know how to siphon the brew out of te primary into the carboy. How do you start the siphon action without sucking with your mouth, as that might sour the batch? thanks
