    Rice extract substitution ???

    Can anyone Help? My recipe calls for 3 lbs of rice extract, but none of my local supply houses have it. Does anyone have a suggestion as to what I can use as a substitute?

    Gravity drop

    Hey all, Just got through fermentation of a hard tea (2weeks at approx 75 degrees). Initial gravity reading before fermentation was 1.060 (plus 3 for temperature) so 1.063. Gravity reading now is 1.012 (plus 3, so 1.015). Should I have this much of a drop in readings? The taste is pretty good...
