I harvested about 2 lbs. of hops this year. After drying, I sealed them in storage bags. I immediatly put them in my freezer. My question is how long will they last in the freezer. I usually use fresh Hops to Dry Hop.

I have brewed this IPA several times with good results. My last batch has a strong BITTER after taste. What could have caused this? I am confused since I followed the same procedures as I have always did. And my temps were also right on the money. Any sugestions?

Picked some Cascade today. Paper touch and starting to brown on the edges.

Can I use fresh just picked hops in my next batch? or must I first DRY out the hops. If I don't need to dry them first, what would be the equivalent of 1 ounce of pellets vs fresh off the vine?? Obviously I am new to this and would appreciate any comments..

I planted several Rhizomes 4 weeks ago, Cascade and Fuggle are growing fine. The northern rhizomes have not shown any signs of breaking ground. I live in south central Pennsylvania and feel they are probably dead, the rhizomes looked dried out when I received them. Does anyone in the area have...
