    Kegging???

    :confused:Ok I was looking into kegging today at the local hbs. For a cobra tapper, regulator, co2 and keg is just over 200. If I wanted to goto a single shank with drip pan it is around 270. I would like to go to a three or four shank. I was wondering if I put it together myself, would it...

    Bottling Question

    Hey, with new bottles do I need to wash them with detergent? Or can I just sanitize them?

    First cider!

    Ok when I embarked on making a cider I talked to the guys at the beer store and the gave me this recipe and directions: 5 gallons of cheap cider, 2 pounds of honey, yeast nutrient, and red star Premier Cuvee. Directions mix in fermenter, and let set for a week or until the air lock slow way...

    Way late leap year mead

    I brewed my first batch of mead today and I used the leap year recipt..... and after I pitch my yeast I relized I used to wrong yeast... I used a Pastuer red wine verses the champain yeast. Can anyone tell me what the difference will be? Will the yeast die? Please help!:confused:
