    Bottle washing tips

    Can anyone point me in the direction of a good maibock extract recipe? I've never brewed one, and can't even remember if I've tried a Mai'bock. May Bock... sounds like an appropriate time to brew one right?

    Why shouldn't I use One Step Sanitizer?

    I was reading the Stone Cold Lead Pipe N00B Advice Thread and post # 24 says you should not use One Step Sanitizer. Why is this? I just bought a can and used it on my last two batches... what's the deal with the stuff? Why is San Star better? responses are much appreciated... 5th batch in!

    steeping temperature question

    I'm doing an extract brew of an IPA that requres 1lb of Crystal 40L malts to steep. I wasn't paying attention and let my steep get up to 175 degrees for about 5 -8 min... I read you shouldn't exceed 180 degrees. I still have 9 LBS of gold LME to add. How much did I ruin this beer? Is it...
