    Brewing extract with lost directions

I was getting all set up to brew some extract that has been laying around for the last few months, and now the directions are no where to be found . It's Coopers wheat beer, and is supposed to make 6 US gallons. If anybody could post up some decent directions, I'd really appreciate it...

    Somewhat cheap co2 tanks?

Does anybody know where to get a co2 tank without paying an arm and a leg for it? My beer is almost ready to keg, but I still need a co2 tank.

First time AGer with new AL pot.

I recently brewed my first AG batch with a new AL turkey fryer pot. I noticed when brewing the pot darkened on the inside. Was I supposed to boil water in it to allow this to happen before I brewed my beer, or will the beer still be fine?

First time doing AG last night. Goog SG?

My specific gravity ended up being 1.039. Desired was supposed to be at 1.050. How good is that for my first time?

    Adjusting mash temps?

I'm looking to do a cream ale AG kit in a couple of weeks, and it calls for three different mash temps. * 122° F for 20 minutes * 153° F for 60 minutes * 170° F for 10 minutes What's the best way to adjust the mash temps? I'm assuming by adding more hot water. Would one of...

Just curious on your thoughts for calculators for someone who's never done any type of AG brewing. Thinking of going with the ProMash.

Decided to try an all grain.

Well, I'm getting ready to come back home from Iraq, and my roommate and I (we're brother-in-laws) have decided to try an all grain brew. We already have a turkey fryer, and making a mash tun seems to be relatively simple. I've done a few extract brews from the LHBS before, but nothing like...

    What beer to get?

I'm getting ready to go back home at the end of the month, and I'm looking for a homebrew to brew when I get home. I'll be moving aprox 6 weeks after I get back, and I'm looking for an extract or mini-mash brew that's simple to make with basic equipment, and one that will be drinkable before I...

    Letting kegged beer sit?

My bother-in-law and I are going to be going home at the end of Feb (we're in Iraq) and our wives are getting a keg for our coming home party. The store they're getting it from has to order the keg and our wives will be picking it in a few days. My question is how long can the keg sit for. I'll...

    Hello from Iraq

Well, I'm in Iraq right now guys, but I'll be heading home SOON!!! I love beer, and I'm looking to set up a home built kegorator. I'm also very interested in homebrewing. I've done it a couple of times, but I'm pretty completely new with the whole thing. Not to mention there's about a 1000...
