    Critique this methodology

On my last couple AG brews I added flameout hops (pellets) and chilled then dumped the whole kit and kaboodle into the fermenter. At end of fermentation 21 days ish, I added gelatin and cold crashed then kegged. Beers turned out great IMO. Any disadvantadge to this technique? Just curious...

    Equipment question?

So I have been brewing for a few years now and my wife is interested in making wine. Not sure if this will be for her as beermaking is for me (hopeless addiction!) so I really don't want to buy special winemaking equipment. How would it work to use my fermenting bucket and a 5g carboy...

I plan on building a three tier due to not wanting to buy a pump, space limitations where I want to brew and I REALLY like the look of a three tier! I would love to see pics of everyones three tier type setup for ideas! Thanks!

    Grains to have on hand

When I move back to Mississippi (shhhh, I know I am not allowed to brew there! LOL), I will be two hours from my LHBS and like the idea of having grain on hand so I can brew without any planning ahead of time. So..... What should I have on hand to do some basic recipes? I usually drink...
