    Serving Wedding Homebrew From Kegs

So, I am getting married in the middle of May and had a few questions for you guys about serving/preparing to serve the kegs, more for a quick sanity check to make sure I'm doing everything right. I am planning on serving these kegs from a jockey box that I made. Right now I have 2 kegs...

Keg storage for wedding in a few months

So I'm getting married in The middle of May and I'm in the process of brewing 5 homebrew kegs for the event, currently have one cold crashing, another almost done and one just brewed today. My question is what would be the best way to store these kegs if I do not have a way to keep them cold...

    Jockey Box Build for Wedding

Wow, it's been a long time since I've posted here on homebrewtalk! So, I'm getting married in May and of course I want to server my homebrew. Thinking of making 6 corny kegs of 5 different types of my homebrew and then maybe some light commercial beer for the non homebrew types. I have...

    Adding Smoked Malt to Secondary?

Will this give you more smoked flavor? I missed the mark on how much smoked flavor I wanted in a recent brew and I just racked to the secondary last night. Can I get some Smoked Malt and add it to the secondary to get some more flavor out of it? Any other thoughts?

    Kitchen Sink Recipe

Ok, so I want to get rid of some malt that I have. This is the recipe I'm thinking of using. I basically just through a lot of stuff together and we'll see what comes out. I just need some thoughts on a hop schedule to go with it to make a malty pale ale. Any suggestions? 8.50 lb Marris...

    Keg Carb Question

I just started kegging and I am on my 4th and 5th keg on my first 5lb co2 tank. I have had these kegs on gas at 12 psi for 9 days now and neither one of them seem really carbed up. I'm sure the gauges are good, do you think my tank is just low? Should I refill it or wait a few days?

More trub in all grain batch vs. extract batch?

So I did my first all grain batch a few weeks ago and I transferred to a keg today. I noticed that I have a lot more trub at the bottom of my fermenter than I did with any of my extract batches. I might just be a n00b but is this just how it is with all grain batches?

    First AG batch tomorrow.

So I've acquired all of the extra equipment to go all grain and I'm going to take the plunge tomorrow. I'm going to start off with Ed Wort's Haus Pale Ale because I loved the extract version when I made it and it seems like an easy recipe to start out with. Any advice you guys can give me?

    Kegerator Temp Control

Ok, so I made a kegerator from a small compact fridge that has its own temp control. This temp control has proven to be unreliable. First of all let me tell you how I converted the fridge. The fridge was one that had a small freezer at the top so like I saw someone else do on here I just...

    n00b question I think...

So I've been brewing for a few months, only extract brews, and I have a question...Why do some recipes call for a part of the malt to be LME and one part to be DME of the same type of extract? Is there a reason for this?

    co2 pressure issues

So I just made a kegerator a few weeks ago and kegged my first beer. Everything worked fine...set the psi to 12 psi and left it for a week. I finished the keg this past week and moved on to the next. I now have 2 kegs of beer ready to go. I have a dual co2 regulator. I set the psi on the...

    Party tap length

So I know the length of the line makes a huge difference in foam control. I recently used the suggestion of adding the stirrers into the dip tube and that drastically made my pours better. My question now is if i have a party tap for a keg that will be served out of the kegerator, how long...

    Best way to transport keg?

I'm going to be brewing a batch to take to a party and I'm just wondering if there is an easier way to transport rather than lugging around the both the co2 tank and the keg?

    Bottling from keg

Is there anything special that I should know about just bottling a few beers from my keg? Seems like I should just be able to open the tap, fill a few bottles and cap right? Thanks.
