I am a fairly new home brewer and I am wondering what effect substituting Maris Otter will have on a recipe that calls for British pale ale malt? What will be different about the resulting beer?
I just began brewing back in June and I am looking for feedback on the Szamatulskis' book "Clone Brews". Have you tried any of the clone recipes in the book and if so, which ones, extract, partial or all grain? How did they turn out?
