    why chill for 48 hours?

    I have read in a few places to chill your bottles for at least 48 hours in the fridge prior to drinking. What is the reasoning behind this, and why cant I just throw one in ice or in the freezer to quickly chill it and try it out?

    Oops...Added Whirlfloc to Hefe

    Like the title says. I didn't even think about, I just threw it in like I have done with other beers. I was making a Bavarian style Hefe, using PM. Did I ruin my Hefe, or will it just look clearer?

    Partial Mash Hefe

    Does anyone have a good partial mash recipe for a Hefeweizen? I searched around a little and didn't come up with much. I would like to try Edwort's Bee Cave Brewery Bavarian Hefe but I don't see any conversion to Partial.
