    Aeration question...

Brewed on Saturday, used an ice bath to cool 3 gallons of wort but it took forever, and after a while I got impatient and poured it into the primary and topped up, aerating it nicely. It wasn't quite at the ideal temperature, around 85 - 100 F, and I was wondering whether hot side aeration would...

    Appeal of homebrew

Right, I'm sitting here after a small party at mine and a night out at a Moroccan restaurant (Sheesha is HIGHLY recommended) and sitting in font of me are leftovers of skittle vodka and a homebrew that was left over after I handed out about a dozen for people to try. After browsing these forums...

    First label

Churned this out on photoshop today, I'm pretty pleased with it and would love to know what you guys think. The sheep was a character from an animation I made a while back of the same name as the beer, I thought it would be cute :cross: Thanks! *^_^*

I want as little sediment as possible in the keg, and so i was contemplating using a filter around the output...

    Priming Sugar...

My first batch, and after going from primary straight to bottle priming ( using corn sugar ) 2 days ago, the sugar has suddenly decided to collect in the bottom... My temptation is to shake it, but after the valuable advice i had had and read about on this forum (:D) I have decided against it (...

    Alcopops...

Right, first off, i can't stand these things, you might as well be drinking lemonade. But after stumbling across this recipe, i am quite tempted to make my own (mainly because it's cheap and doesn't take too long to make). But just wondering.... would it actually work??? Required for this...

1st time brew and paranoia strikes...

Right... from all the home brewing artciles, tutorials and how-tos i have read there has been a supreme emphasis on sterylisation, yet I have also read that homebrew isn't as prone to infection as it's made out to be... anyway, me and a couple of friends fully disinfected all our equipment in a...
