    Apfelwein Question...

    So, I would like to makes this Edworts Apfelwein that I have been reading so much about, But I Have a question. Would it be alright to use Lalvin EC-1118 wine yeast? Its the only yeast I can get ahold of right now. Will there be any bad effects using this?

    Wheat beer question

    I want to add raspberries to my wheat beer and was wondering if it would be alright to just add them to the primary after a week of fermenting instead of putting it in a secondary? Has anyone done this? I dont wanna do secondary.

    adding raspberries

    As I have posted before, For my first beer I am making a american wheat extract. Its going into secondary after 1 week and I would like to ad some raspberries to it once its in there. How would I go about doing that?

    first brew, does this look normal?

    this is my first brew. american wheat, been in fermenter since friday, smells a liitle like banana. Does it look normal? [/url][/IMG]

    First brew. I think I eff'd up already

    Ok I am very new at this, I Just finished my first extract brew. It is in the fermenter right now, but I think I messed up already:(. When I pitched the yeast the wort wasnt at the right temp (around 80 degrees). I know it needs to ferment around 60-70 ° F. I have the primary in cold water now...
