    Sweeting Hard Lemonade

My hard lemonade is at its target final gravity, however when I tasted the hydrometer sample it was pretty tart and didn't taste that great. Is that normal? Can a sweeten it after fermentation? Is there a preferable type of sugar I should use? Thank you.

    Bottling Bucket

Hello. Today I just purchased a beginner set of homebrewing equipment. I also made my first 5 gallon batch of german hefeweizen from a kit. What is the point of a bottling bucket? Why can't I directly siphon it from the carboy to the bottles?
