    Weird Smell?

When I racked my beer into secondary, the primary has a weird odor coming from it. It smells like beer but it is really strong, and sort of nauseating. I am just guessing it was because all of the ingredients and such sat in there and did whatever... The beer itself smells alright. IS this normal?

I racked into secondary last night. Going to give 2 weeks. Then when I rack into bottling bucket... I pour the 3/4 corn sugar in... Then rack the beer. Then stir? Also how will I know/avoid bursting bottles?

    A few tech questions...

After you begin primary... If you have a carboy, and a bottling bucket with a spigot... do you secondary in the bottling bucket? Or just single in the carboy, for 2-3 weeks, the bottling and bottle...? Is double fermination necessary? If I want to do doble what exactly will I need?
  19. W

    Few questions

After primary phase 1 week, you then transfer to the other bucket or carboy for 2 weeks right? Then do you prime the mix in the second bucket then bottle?
