    Secondary

    I have my Red Ale in a secondary right now for conditioning and clarifying. It has been there for 3 weeks now. I was going to bottle it tonight but I am not ready. My question is will it hurt anything if it stays on secondary for another week. without being bottled?

    Ok I got to thinking and was readign what I could find here about Maple syrup. I would like to use some in a stout beer. I don't care for the roasted (coffee) flavor of a lot of stouts.     Grolsch style bottle gaskets.

    My question is for those of you who use Grolsch style bottles. Do you replace the gaskets every new batch? Or can you sanitize the used ones for more then one or two batches.

    Here goes my first fruit try

    Well in about an hour I am going to rack my primary blonde ale so far on top of 5# of frozen strawberries. I am going to put the 5 lbs in some water and brign up to a boil this should thaw and sanitize them. I will cool them down in an Ice bath then put them into secondary. Rack Ale on top of it...
