    Any training tips for a 5K run???

    I'm going to do my first attempt at a 5K run in two weeks. I'm in pretty good shape, but I've never run before. I was on the treadmill last night and I'm hoping to finish in 30 minutes or less. Any training tips? How do I pace myself?

    Friday it took me about 7 hours. I found a slow cooked BBQ pork recipie that if I made it first I could of had a yummy meal when I was done brewin'.Plus it has beer in it!

    Bulging bottle

    I bottled my brew on last Thursday. As a gauge I put 12 ounces into a 16 ounce Poland Spring water bottle. I squeezed all the air out until the ale was right up to the top and capped it. Over the past few days the bottle as expected "re-inflated" to the point where the bottom is bulging out...

    Bottle condition with dry ice

    Has anybody ever tried bottle conditioning with dry ice? How much would you use? I figure just a sliver. Just think, it would carbonate and chill it at the same time.:mug:

    I went away for a week and had a friend water my hops. This is the first year for these cascade hops and they are in large planters.
