    Apricot ale

This is just two quick questions. I am going to be using my normal ale recipe, whit hops that are in line with Magic Hat's #9, and I was thinking for this week's brew I would add some apricot to give it a twist. I do not want it to be a strong twist, so I am not going to use the amount in the...

    Fermentation time table

After a week of over-flowing airlocks, my belgian wit with wyeast 3944, is still getting a 5 or 6 second count in the airlock. Usually by a week or so the gravity is low enough to transfer but this obviously is not. Oh, and I broke my newest hydrometer last week, so I have no way of telling what...

    Corny Keg

Hey ya'll, I just bought my first corny keg; used. It is in good condition, but I am going to referb it. Springs are good inside the ball joint. I ordered a new o-ring set. I am going to rinse it out a few times then let it sit with water for a while, then rinse it again. Anyone have any...

    Crossing boarders

Hello all, I will be traveling to Canada this summer for a fishing trip. Anyone know if I can bring some homebrew across the boarder? I know you can only bring 24 12 oz. bottles per person of age, but I have not found anything about it being a homebrew. This might just be a fuzzy area of the...

    Milled grain

Once you have milled your grains, how long can you wait before you brew? Is a week too long, even if I keep it very dry? I usually brew the day I mill, but it may not work out this time. Thanks in advance!
