Does leaving your carboy in direct sunlight (afternoon - into evening) effect the taste of your beer? I have made 5 batches that I have left in the same spot in the house everytime in the sunlight. Taste fine too me ... but maybe it tastes better out of the sun?

Has any one Tryed the Brew Festa Cerveza? It is available only in spring/summer apparently. I started it Sunday ... any feedback on it?

I started a brew festa Blonde lager 5 weeks ago. 1st Sp was 1.062 .... after 1st rack to the carboy my sp changed to 1.012 after 1 week. Today (3 weeks later) I checked the SP and it went up to 1.020 ? how is this possible ? I was hoping to have a strong beer!!!

I just started a wheat beer today. Boiled wort and sugar and 700g of honey. The temp in the bucket is hotter then my temp guage on the side. (31oc) I have it outside to cool. I suppose its too hot for the yeast?

I baught a Wheat beer kit today ..... I was gonna add 5 pounds of blueberries to the initital stage of fermentation in the bucket. Has anyone ever tryed this? I also got a lil bottle of concentrate blueberry stuff I was gonna add before I bottle. Suggestions?

I have done a couple batches of beer in my primary buckets. After cleaning them they still have some arouma of beer, and the wine one is stronger. Is this gonna affect my next batches of beer I brew in them, or should I try and clean them out better?
