    Will spice age out?

Hey all I brewed pumpkin stout last month, I added more spices than I normally do in a pumpkin ale. I was concerned that they wouldn't hold up against the strong toasty and coffee flavors of the stout. Well, of course I added too much! I like my pumpkin beers to have a very subtle pumpkin...

Ok quick question, my LHBS doesnt refrigerate their dry yeast (or hop pellets for that matter). Is this a big deal? according to the Fermentis website the yeast should be stored below 50F. I'm a little concerned and need some input. Thanks all.

    Stout Label, ideas?

Well here is the stout label I have been working on for the past few days. it's not quite done yet, any ideas for improvement? I realize it is a bit dark and I may want to lighten it up. That is supposed to be a coffee bean, not a flat football or turd. Flickr Photo Download: Stout Label

Hey all, I brewed a dry stout kit a week and a half ago, and after checking the gravity I found out it is not nearly dark enough. it should be black, however it looks like a scotch ale or something along those lines. I'm sure my problem was that I didnt crush the grains good enough, but thats...
