    OxyClean delableing solution got on the inside of one of my bottles!

    Is this bottle now toxic?? I feel strange filling beer into a bottle that previously had Oxy Clean in it. Do you think C Brite will Kill the OxyClean? :confused:

    Is a second ferment necessary every time?

    I'm getting ready to do my second batch ever, and I'm thinking of just throwing the wort in the carboy first, rather than having it in a bucket for 2 weeks and then the carboy. Should I continue to do a second ferment, or let my laziness prevail? Thanks! :cross:

    My Wort Was Small (<2 gal.) will this lead to watery beer?

    I topped a small wort off with a good amount of water to reach 5 gals. Have I cursed myself with watery beer?:(

    How close will Bottling Day Beer taste to When it's done Beer?

    I took a sneak peak sip while bottling and it tasted like" Satan's Anus." How close will this taste resemble my beer a month from now? I'm hoping that bottle conditioning will dramatically change the taste of my very first brew... :drunk:

    Starting the siphon with your mouth, Dangerous?

    Bottle Conditioning in a GROWLER??

    I don't have enough bottles, so before I run to the brew supply store, I was wondering if I could siphon 64oz of beer into my growler and let it bottle condition for a month... Could this work? Thanks!:ban:

    Grolsch Bottles: Just as good as caps?

    I want to use Grolsch bottles so I'm not throwing caps out for them to sit an a landfill until the sun goes supernova. Will the rubber grommet keep beers as fresh as a pressed cap? How often does one have to replace said rubber grommet? Thanks!:rolleyes:
