sooo, i have been making Edworts apple wine for some time now. now i have been changing it out here and there with grape juice. 3 gals of apple and 2 of grape. my last batch was all grape and still using the Montrachet yeast, seems the dry from the yeast and the sweet of the grape juice are...

So... i made a starter on Saturday with the intention of brewing a spiced ale today as it was my day off. but i was called into work as Shrek banged out. now my next day off is Friday. how long will this starter last? can i tweak it some dme, or should i say flocc it get fresh yeast?? :mug:

Take a gravity reading. if the reading is the same for 3-4 days, shesa' done ...

Evenin', i have a Dortmunder in the new lagah' fridge and i realize it won't get up past 40*. usually with my old fridge, i could get temp between 45*-50* will a 40* temp cause any problems?? I do have fermentation, slow as lagah's are. thanx, Jim ...
