    beer gone bad

    :mad: I am not sure what happened but... I brewed a Hefeweizen on the 4th of June. Everything went fine. I let it sit in the primary for 6 days. Then racked to secondary. I check the gravity a found it had it had only gone from 1.048 to1.026. I repitched some dry yeast and nothing after a week...

    Seconday Airlock ???

    I brewed a Hefewweizen on the 4th of June, racked to secondary on the 10th of june and at that point took a reading. It went from 1.050 to 1.026 I thought it was done until I saw that. I pitched dry yeast again and still have no airlock bubbles. Will it finish out with out any airlock bubbles...

    FG 1.010 but still thick Krauesen

    I brewed last Saturday a West Coast Pale Ale. SG was 1.052 1 week in primary. I was going to rack to secondary this morning, but when I took the lid off the Krausen was still thick. I took a reading and it was 1.01. So it should be done. But what do I do? I thought the Krausen had to fall before...

    Primary to Secondary is it time?

    Brewed my Kolsch last Thursday the 4th of May. This morning I am down to one bubble a minute. Can I rack to seconadry or wait the extra couple days? Thanks, Mike

    Wow, I got a new Turkey Fryer!

    Is it time to bottle?

    I brewed a blonde on 3/11 OG was 1.050 racked to secondary 3/28 FG 1.002 No activity in arilock. Can I bottle this weekend, or should I wait?:confused:

    Sweet beer

    I have a questions about sweetness. I have added either Candi sugar or DME to a couple of batches and have ended up with somewhat sweet beer. This last one I added extra hops to counter the sugar. My question is at bottling time what would happen if i use less prming sugar for carboniztion...

    Using Candi Sugar

    this is the third brew that I have either added DME ( 3 lbs) or Candi Sugar( 1 lb). I just like the added ABV boost:drunk: . My problem is everytime the finished product is really sweet. What do I need to do to correct for the added sugar or DME? Add more hops? Do i just double what the kit...

    Lager Ferment Question

    I ordered a Marzan clone and didn't realize it was a lager. My mistake. What temperature do I need for the fermentation? Does it need as cold as 45F? Can someone point me to a link with good instructions on Lagers vs. Ales? Thanks for any help.:D

    Secondary with low FG

    I racked my Fat Tire clone today after 6 days in the primary. I had very little bubbles in the airlock. About 1 every 30 seonds. My reading was 1.020. Will my FG lower or do I need to repitch? Did I rack it too soon? Hope I didn't wreck it. Thanks, Mike

    I bottled my Hefeweizen on the 11th of December. I wanted to try some and see how it is. Is it too early to try some? I can't wait.

    low alcohol content

    I just tasted my first batch of Amber Ale. Brewed 1 month ago and bottled 2 weeks ago. Good carbonization, great color and head. Taste great too. But it's seems like there's not alcohol in it. Can someone help me out? :confused:
