    Hefewisen yeast in a stout?

    I love banannas dipped in chocolate so I was wondering if anyone has tried a Hefewisen yeast in a stout and how was it. I'm kegging a hefe now and saving yeast and wanted to try it in a stout. If you have had luck with this a recipe whould be great.

    Horehound candy stout

    I love horehound candy and think it's unique taste would go great in a stout. I haven't brewed many stouts and was wondering if anyone has ever use this candy or any candy/ sugar in a stout that turned out well.

    Bad Yeast?

    I bought the 3 kit sale from NB about 2-3 weeks ago and it seems the dry yeast has not worked well. I did a Hefe that went fine but the West coast Radical red (Safale US-05) and now the Caribou slobber (Danstar Windsor Ale) are not acting right.I did not rehydrate any of them just pitched dry...
