So I'm attempting the cream ale recipe from the book Brewing classic styles. It calls for 1.7 lbs of Rice Syrup but the only thing my LHBS had was Rice Syrup solids. Anyone know a conversion? I'm guessing an equal amount of solids would be too much. Also the recipe says 3.3 lbs of Pilsner LME...
So of course I forgot to take a measurement before adding bottling sugar. My FG with the 5oz sugar mixed in was 1.020. It was an extract kit for a Brown ale that said 1.010-1.014 for FG.
