My latest batch of beer tastes kind of funny and has some kind of residue on the inside of the bottles.
The residue shows up as an opaque line around the inside of the neck.
It looks like it might be from some kind of nasties that got into the beer.
Any info would be great.

I am brewing an IPA with the using the following amounts of malt:
7.5lbs LME
1lb Crystal Malt
0.5lb of Toasted Malt
Fermentation has started week 4 and has slowed to a trickle but the beer has not cleared at all yet...when should I start worrying?
I have never had a beer go for more...
Ok...maybe not an explosion...more like an expansion.
Thought I would try to dry hop using cascade pellets for the first time on an IPA and whooosh.
Had to install the blow-off tube again after the pellets expanded to the point where my air lock was overflowing.
