I am finishing up a brew and I want a keg but I also want some bottles. If I bottle with the keg will I still need to wait for the best taste or is the wait after bottling simply for co2?
I know I have posted a similar question but I am thoroughly confused at this point. No co2 coming from air lock. One 5 gallon jug of pilsner and one jug of dunkel. Should I move either of them to a new Carboy for clarity?
I am brewing my fist batch of beer and I am not sure how to tell of the fermentation is done or is finishing up. I don't want to take the instructions at face value because they say 1 week which seems a little short.
First brew there was a lot of foam spewing out to the air lock but everything looked ok. The next morning the air lock had clogged and popped the plug which was left over night. Day 3 not much bubbling coming from airlock. Did I mess it up?
