    starsan residue on top of beer in secondary

    I'm sure this is fine but it looks pretty nasty to me. I keep reading don't fear the foam so I left the foam on top of the beer in my secondary. The foam has since gone away but there are these pools of nasty white looking stuff on top of the beer now. (the sanitizer) Is this just a normal...

    beginner error

    I bottled a beer two weeks ago and when I did, I forgot to let the sugar solution cool down when I added it to the beer for bottling. I guarantee I killed a bunch of yeast with the high temperature water, but hopefully there is still enough to carbonate the beer. Has anyone else had issues or...
