Ok may sound dumb. I've made 2 or three all grain beers now. Got techniques from a YouTube video. Not sure if I'm fly sparking or batch sparking what is the difference?
I am making an IPA I will be dry hopping it and would like to age it with oak whiskey chips. I don't know If I want to do all this in the primary or transfer to a secondary.
My pale ale is currently fermenting would it be beneficial to move to secondary carboy and move to cooler temperature. In the past I went straight to bottling and it turned out good. Wondering what a secondary and or cold temps will do for me.
I just brewed a pale ale, I added halepeno to it but otherwise followed the recipe. I am supposed to add .5 oz cascade hops to carboy tomorrow. Do I need to add them and what is the purpose of this last stage of hops.
I have been brewing for 2 years. I have bottled the whole time. I would like to switch to keging but don't know where to start. Could I get some advice please
