    Trub loss

    New to all grain. Just did my second batch a surly abrasive clone yesterday. Everything went great. Hit my mash temp spot on, hit my pre boil gravity and post boil gravity. However my trub loss was much more than anticipated. I use whilfloc so could irish moss work better?

    Wood for mash paddle?

    Would aspen or poplar be okay for a mash paddle? Not sure what wood works. Cant find maple but dic find these boards.

    Help with ipa hopping schedule

    Steep .75-1 lb crystal 40 @ 150-155 30-45 minutes. 1 oz warrior @ 60 with 3# extra light dme. Got 6 oz citra and 4 oz amarillo and 2 oz centennial. 4.5 # dme at fo how to hop? Oh forgot 3#. @ start of boi.

    Carbonation problems?

    First batch i've kegged. Set at 12 psi and let it sit at 34 to 40 degrees for 6 days. Half pint of foam but low carbonation in mouthfeel. Whats wrong? I have standard 5 foot line.

    Any suggestions?

    7.5# ext light dme 1.15 # lme 1 # crystal 40 steeped 1 oz warrior or columbus @ 60, 1 oz citra @ 20, 1 oz citra @ 15, 1 oz citra @ 10, 1 oz citra @ 5 and 1 more oz citra 1 or f/o. Dry hop 2 or 3 oz citra prior to kegging. Too much? Suggestions are welcomed

    Know its been done but when?

    Got a kegging system. I want to add gelatin to drop out the yeast. Will be dry hopping at 7-10 days before kegging. When to add gelatin? 2 weeks primary done just racked to secondary.

    Old thread im sure

    Doing nb dead ringer tomorrow. Have a 10 gl kettle so i want to do a full boil. Any changes to the recipe or directions?
