    So, my friend and I brewed a big wee heavy yesterday, and ended up with a few gallons of liquid left in the mash tun. So, I decided to let it sour, which it did, and see what it came out as.     Large format bottles

    So, a 3 liter of Double Bastard just showed up at work, and it has me wondering...anyone ever bottle a barleywine or other strong, age worthy beer in one of these bad boys ( or larger)? I'm thinking of trying to find an empty one cheap to bottle something crazy in and age it for several years....

    Probably a silly question, but...

    Why do I get a permission denied popup on my phone when trying to view certain threads? Also, I only have my phone at the moment, signed up through the app, never been on the site proper. Not sure if this is why?

    New guy from Mass.

    Well, here we go! Name's Myles, I'm pretty well new to homebrewing. Did a batch last year, but that's about it as I've moved a few times since. Recently got to be friends with a brewer and have become interested in trying again, and figured this would be the place to learn!
