    LowRYEder Clone help

Anyone have ingredients or instructions for a extract brew. This stuff is awesome btw. This is from their website. No idea how to translate it though. ""A flame throwin’ Rye IPA ignited by a 25% shot of rye malt and capped by a booty hoppin’ blast of Mt Hood and Centennial hops...

    I'm not crazy.......right?

I did my second Brewer's Best kit and bottled today. I understand that you generally lose some beer when siphoning before and after fermentation. Both times though it has been about 6-8 bottles short of their stated "53 12 oz bottles" on the side of the box. Am I making a big deal out of...

    aeration question

If I put a sanitized muslin bag and rubber band on the end of my auto-siphon when moving the wort from the carboy to the bottling bucket to avoid bringing debris, do I risk the muslin bag aerating the brew? I wouldn't think so since it's all submerged, but wanted to check. Thanks!

    Hello

First Post. Brand new to home brewing. College roommate got me into it, so I grabbed a starter kit from my LHBS and a English Brown kit and went to town. So far I think I'm doing well. It's in a windowless closet a week into primary. Had a very active first 72 hours and has died down...
