Lowes has a Holiday brand chest freezer for $169 and change. The bottom is 17 x 17 and 23 high. There is a 6 inch hump not part of the 17x17. This will soon be controlled by external device to hold 67 (or what ever) for fermation . I can post a link to external control if some body wants it.

I am getting a 6 gal pet Carboy for fermenting. I do not know its size. Perhaps someone can tell me the size or what size dorm fridge to get.

Local brew store in Norfolk Virginia. I went in and asked for one of their recipe kits. Young man put a label on a container, and filled it with extract. Drew grains from containers, and yeast from fridge. Needless to say it was not a boxed on the shelf kit. Two bad it's a 420 trip back up...
