Gordon Strong starts with a quarter teaspoon of 10% phosphoric acid in his RO water. I want to try adding it to bring down PH but I can not find phosphoric locally. I can get 88% Lactic acid.

I have a boil keggle getting ready to come on line. I have 50 feet of 1/2 copper tube to build IC. Seems I would want the make my IC the max diameter to fit within the keggle to max surface contact. How much space should I leave between IC coil and keggle wall?
Going to build an immersion chiller. I have seen some that use a pump to recirculate wort to make the process faster. Why not just boil a spoon the last 15 minutes with your chiller and still the pot manually? Pros / Cons ?

Bottled my first batch today, had a siphon hose about 3-4 feet long, filled it with c brite to get siphon going. Forgot to drain it before moving beer to into pan with sugar water in it before bottling. How screwed up will the beer be?
