    3 weeks or longer for bottling time?

    on sunday my first brew will have been in the bottles for 3 weeks, should i give them another 2 weeks or so. or will nothing be gained by my extra patience?

    my stout isnt black?

    i took my first gravity reading since my og. and to my surprise my oatmeal stout is a dark brown color not the black i've seen in most stouts. is this normal for oatmeal stout? will it get darker if i leave it in the fermenter for a couple more weeks?

    2 questions about my bottling

    i have an american wheat ale that i bottled exactly 2 weeks ago, there arn't any bubbles in the bottle, i used conditioning tablets, could this mean its under carbonated? question 2... since its been 2 weeks, am i in the clear from bottle bombs?

    Cacao nibs

    i'm doing an oatmeal stout. its already in the primary. i want to add chochlate to it, but im passed boiling. im thinking about adding 4.0 ounces of cacao nips when i move to secondary.

    slow vs fast fermentation

    will there be any difference in flavoring, coloring, clearness, or anything whether your beer ferments fast at a high temp, or slow at a colder temp? if so, is either better? or are they just different and neither is better.

    airlock has blown off.

    is it a big deal that my air lock has blown off? im pretty sure it isnt because the co2 would keep any bacteria out. yeast is going crazy, its bubbling like 10 times every few seconds

    why does imperial stout cost so much?

    most websites i've looked at sell 5 gallon ingredient kits anywhere from $25- $35. i just bought an oatmeal stout kit for 30. But almost every imperial stout kit is $45-50. is this beer better quality, why is it more expensive then other varieties?

    another noob question.

    i only did a 10 day fermentation. and yes my fermentation was close enough done to bottle. can i keep my beer in the bottle for a month, or will it be no better then storing it for 2 to 3 weeks?
