    First AG Hefe

    Ok I am about 2.5 weeks into fermentation with my first Hefe when I open it up, it still has the sulphur smell. This is normal right? If so, does that smell stick around even when you bottle? What is y'all's experience with this. Thanks!

    Extracting wort

    I did my first AG batch and when I was trying to extract the wort, I made a freaking mess. I was using cheesecloth. Maybe I did not layer it good enough. Any tips on making this process easier? How do y'all do it? Thanks for the help!

    Ok I never made cider before. I bought some Ocean Spray Cran Apple juice & I want to me something with it. Do I just pour it in a 1 gallon just an pitch yeast, let sit for 1 week then switch to secondary for another week then bottle for two? Or do I pasteurize it first, then follow the above...

    New to cider

    Give me your thoughts. I would like to juice 2.5 gallons of apple juice and 2.5 gallons of watermelon juice. Mix them together. Boil 1 gallon of water and add hops. Mix that in with my juice mix. Pitch yeast. Give it 1 week primary, I week secondary, bottle for 2. Sound stupid???
