    Bad beer????

    Is ur beer bad when it has a slight vinager taste to it? It has been carb and conditioning for 7 days now. Is batch bad? Or do I need a little more time. It an American Cream Ale

    Will the beer go bad

    I have had my second batch of beer sitting in the primary for about a month now. I do a lot of out of town work and won't be home until tomorrow . Will it be ok to bottle? And, that is if I get home tomorrow. I might have be gone another week. Will another week hurt it?

    How flavor your beer

    Do you put your wood chips,tea bag or whatever u want to flavor your beer with, in during the brew period or after sometime it is done. Or, in the fermenter?

    Airlock slowed down on bubbling

    Should I be worried that my my batch is screwed up? Only been in the primary for 2 days now. Yesterday the bubbling in the airlock was pretty steady, bubbles every 3 to 4 seconds. Today, ever 14 to 16 seconds. Should I be worried? Or RDWHAHB. (first batch ever brewed, still a newbie)

    Wort not wanting to boil

    I'm having problems getting my wort to boil. I don't know if it is because I have a flat top stove. But, I'm getting a little discouraged cause I'm worried that my first batch has ended before it has begun.. The wort has been trying boil for the last hour. And, I just can't get it to start...

    Whatis difference?

    Hat is the differences between OG and SG? First batch. The instructions tell me only the OG and FG. So, what is the purpose of the SG? And, when do I inply them?

    Over shot the steeping temp

    Over shot it by five degrees. Shut eye off, moved pot off eye, have 6min left of steeping.. Did I screw it up? Don't won't to leech tannins in the wort. A little nervous now

    Brew pot

    If I boil a full pot of water for an hour.. I should be ok to start my brew, right? Or do I need to clean it after the boil of just WATER?

    Ok to make first brew in an aluminum pot

    Just a little curious about this.. A buddy of mine is letting me barrow his 20q pot but, it aluminum. I know that SS pots are better, no worries of off flavored. Will that aluminum pot be is ok?
