My head is spinning! Basic kegging question....

My head is spinning trying to find an answer... Kegged for the first time (Red Ale) and following the "set and forget" instructions. Once I purged the oxygen from the corny, I set the pressure to 30PSI, left the gas on, temperature at 40 degress. It's been left like this with gas on for 5...

Should I worry about the yeast rafts when bottling?

My brew is in a secondary and has a bunch (maybe 6-8 that I can name if I wanted to! They are ugly!) yeast rafts I sucked up when I transferred from the primary (my first time racking). The largest one is about 1/4" diameter and is suspended in the brew, not sinking....just hanging. The rest...

Think my light ale is gonna skip the secondary

I've read tons, tons of pages. Think I'm going to skip on the secondary (contrary to what I originally planned) and keep it in the bucket for 3 weeks and then bottle it. If I do this, can I just skip taking any gravity readings until I crack it open at bottling? There would be no reason...
