    Refractometer vs. Hydrometer Pros and Cons

    E-Herms as a chiller?

    Hi there! Has anybody ever thought of using there HLT with a HERMS coil as a chiller? Basically fill it up with cold water and ice and recirculate the post boil hot wort through it to chill it? I just thought of this but was wondering if anybody else is doing it out there?
