    Primary fermentation?

    Would it be ok to primary ferment a 5gallon batch in a 5gallon glass carboy or should i use the carboy strictly for secondary. I already use a 6.5 plastic but i got two 5gallon carboys for free!!! Hell yeah!!!:mug:

    Priming sugar?

    So i just boiled my 2/3 cup of sugar in 2 cups of water and it says to let it cool. Do i need it to be at room temp or what? How cool?:mug:

    So i took my first SG reading at the 10 day mark and got 1.018, didnt take one day 11 and just took another one day on day 12 and got a 1.020.
