I made some custom tap handles for myself but I've got materials to make a few more so I've got them up for sale on Etsy. https://www.etsy.com/listing/555266678/beer-tap-handle

Does anyone have a recipe for cooking the hop sprouts? I'd also like to try pickling some. Please share any recipes you have. Tim

    Live beer

Is this a gimmick? I know yeast can be and probably are still alive if the beer isn't pasturized. Besides yeast what would make a beer live? I've ready the yeast book but I don't recall anything about temps after fermentation. My best guess to this is they cooled the beer during fermentation...

Fermented in my kegerator at 60 for a week then moved it to secondary and placed at 70 for two weeks. I then bottled and tried it last night. It wasn't terrible but not...

Went to check on my babies again. So far they have been doing great only this time I found pests. I bought organicide a while back as a way to prevent this from happening but failed to notice that it doesn't cover caterpillars. What pesticide should I use that's still organic? I also found eggs...

    My first hops garden.

This is a big year for me. My fourth since I started brewing and the one I decided to start all grain brewing and growing my own hops. I've always wanted to make my own beer from my own stuff but decided growing barley and malting it myself was too much. However, growing hops sounded easy. I...
