I brewed a hefe on sunday and used dry yeast. I just sprinkled it on top and noticed today that there is not a kraussen but the airlock hac been bubbling is something wrong with my beer?
I want to try and make a black cherry hefe, and was curious if I could add black cherry unsweetened juice when bottling cause I can not find black cherry flavoring anywhere.
Does anybody have any suggestions?
Just did a duvel clobe and didnt get even close to o.g. That was listed in recipe, and my wyeast yeast I thought I broke the packet but when went to pitch was not broken so I opened it and mixed then pitched will this mesd up my beer?
I brewed a rasberry wheat over the weekend, I added a extra pound of dme to raise the abv. When I topped off the pot to get my 5 gallons I put to much and got 5 1/2 gallons do I need more priming sugar than the 3/4 cup to get proper carbonation?
I just brewed my second batch of beer last night. I made a wheat beer and got it in my fermenting bucket around 9:30. I used white labs california 5 ale yeast and it isn't showing any signs of fermenting it is at about 65 degrees in my basement. Did I do something wrong my blonde ale started...
I bottled my beer last saturday and tried one today, it still doesn't seem carbonated enough and tastes like yeast.
Will that go away or did I mess up?
I brewed my first batck of a blonde ale, last monday and removed lid for hydrometer reading and I saw a foam ring around bucket and yeast flakes at top is this normal?
